Our Team
Geoffrey K. Benedict, CPA, CGMA
Geoffrey is a partner of the firm and has been practicing since 1998 after graduation from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Maryland Association of Certified Public Accounts (MACPA), Hospitality and Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), and the Maryland Society of Accountants (MSA). He leads and directs the Assurance and Tax practice for private clubs within the firm. His areas of specialization include financial reporting, audit and review engagements, tax services and consulting services for private clubs, not-for-profits, closely held businesses, and individuals. He has worked with and obtained valuable experience in the private club, non-profit industry and in employee benefit plan audits throughout his entire career.
Amber L. Stone, CPA
Amber began working at the firm in 2012 and is a senior accountant. She received her Master’s Degree in Accounting and Business Advisory Services in 2013 and Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2012, both from Towson University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), and the Hospitality Finance and Technology Professionals (HFTP). Since coming to the firm, Amber’s primary focus has been audit and review engagements, tax services, and consulting for private clubs. She is also involved in performing audits of employee benefit plans, individual tax services, as well as audits, reviews, and tax services for closely held business and non-profits.
